About the Program
Internships and Apprenticeships at Algonquin offer high school and college students practical experience in a chosen theatrical discipline.
- Internships are unpaid, seasonal, and vary based on the needs of the organization and the desired experience of the student. Types of internships have included production & tech, education, marketing & public relations, box office & front of house, and more.
- Apprenticeships are stipend, contracted positions. Once a student has successfully satisfied the expectations of an internship with Algonquin, they may be considered for an apprentice position. Types of apprenticeships have included assistant stage management, various production & tech roles, education assistance, front of house, and more.

- After completing an internship, students may be considered for apprenticeships. Apprentice candidates are selected by Algonquin production and administrative staff to fill specific roles on an as-needed basis.
