
When you can't speak anymore, you sing; when you can't sing anymore, you dance! This is an introductory level class that will include singing, dancing and acting and conclude with a stage presentation of in-class work.
Teaching Artist: Jenn Eagan
Jennifer Eagan has been nurturing young performers at Algonquin Arts Theatre for the past three years. She earned her Master's degree in Text and Performance from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, where she studied the craft of storytelling from both academic and performance-based perspectives. Her commitment to continued growth as an artist and educator is reflected in her additional training with The Second City, The People's Improv Theatre (PIT), and Freestyle Love Supreme Academy, deepening her expertise in improvisation, ensemble work, and musical storytelling. She has also directed and choreographed a wide range of youth theatre productions at the Rosen Performing Arts Center in Wayne, NJ, including Matilda Jr., Into the Woods Jr., Shrek Jr., and Moana Jr. Jen is committed to creating an inclusive, joyful, and empowering environment where students can explore their creativity, take bold risks, and grow as both performers and people.
