Acting is fun! The ability to captivate an audience through live performance is an incredible art. This is an introductory class that teaches the fundamentals of acting and improv through acting exercises, scene study, character analysis, acting games, and other content relevant to stage performance.
Teaching Artist: Nick D'Ambrosia
Nick D'Ambrosia is a local actor, writer, director, improviser, and educator with a passion for all things creative. You may have seen him here at the Algonquin or at various theaters across New Jersey, or at one of his numerous other entertainment ventures on both stage and screen. He hopes to spread the joys of performing with future generations by injecting energy and enthusiasm into foundational performance skills that can be applied not only on stage, but in school, work, and elsewhere out in the world.
