Allison Chellin Appointed Development Director for Algonquin Arts

July 1, 2008

Allison Chellin, formerly the Development Associate for Algonquin Arts in Manasquan, has been appointed Development Director. Ms. Chellin has worked for the organization for the past year and a half, and since her hiring has been successful in fostering strong relationships among the theatres valued sponsors and patrons.

Allison is a graduate of Monmouth University, where she earned a Bachelors degree in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Prior to her career with Algonquin Arts, Allison worked as a high school English teacher as well as an adjunct professor of English for Monmouth University.

Allisons role will be to help generate the financial resources necessary to help Algonquin Arts realize its artistic mission. Under the leadership of the theatres Executive Director, Patrick OHagan, I have learned a great deal. I am pleased to assume this role at such an exciting time in the history of Algonquin Arts.

Allison has done an outstanding job since joining our staff, and has clearly demonstrated her ability to take on the role as Director of Development, said OHagan. As she continues to grow in the job, I look forward to working with her as we face the many challenges that lie ahead.

Algonquin Arts was founded in 1992 as a nonprofit corporation to provide cultural enrichment and educational enhancement of the highest quality for the residents of New Jerseys central region.
