Manasquan, NJ - Gaelic Storm, the famous party band from the Oscar-winning
film Titanic, will take the stage in a live concert at Algonquin Arts on
Saturday, March 6th at 8 pm, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. This is
a concert that fans of Irish music will not want to miss, with songs on
the lineup ranging from “What’s the Rumpus” to “The Night I Punched Russell
Crowe” (based on a true story involving singer Patrick Murphy).
Gaelic Storm has been performing together for over ten years and consistently
books over 125 shows annually, signifying their evolution from a one-time
pub band to leaders in the Celtic/World Music genre. Gaelic Storm released
their 7th album What's the Rumpus? under Lost Again Records in July 2008
earning a #1 debut on the Billboard World Album Chart, #1 on the iTunes
World Album Chart and #5 on the Billboard Internet Album Chart. The songs
on this album are full of outrageous stories and funny scenarios. Singer
Patrick Murphy even stated, "We have so much fun together as a band, we
managed to capture some of the good times we have together on this recording."
Tickets to this concert are $41 for shamrock adult seating (rows A-F),
$39 for shamrock seniors, $25 for shamrock students, $36 for adults, $34
